Cary Groninger

President

 

Cary Groninger joined G&G Hauling and Excavating over 40 years ago. By age seven, he followed his father, Tom Groninger, to the jobsites on the weekends. After high school, he started working full time as a foreman and then later moved up to estimator. In 1992, Tom (founder) stepped down and Cary became President.

As President of G&G, Cary oversees various components of the business, through line managers which include: field operations, business development, design/consulting, shared support services,  and employee/local community/customer care. He is also certified in First Aid, CPR, 40- Hour OSHA, 40-Hour MSHA, 40-Hour HAZMAT, and has a class A CDL.

Cary is a member of the Executive Forum and an active member of Christ Covenant Church. In his free time, Cary enjoys many outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and snowmobiling. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, and three kids, Leigh, Jay, and Joel.
