Thanks for Giving, First Friday Event

G & G has been blessed for many years with good customers, good employees and a wonderful community. The City of Warsaw and the Warsaw Community Development Corporation approached G&G to partner with them and sponsor the November 2017 First Friday Event themed Thanks for Giving.  In late summer 2017 we started planning for the event and on November 3^rd, 2017, downtown Warsaw was a hive of active. G&G provided the manpower and activities for all ages to enjoy including: equipment demonstrations, a coin hunt, sand boxes, pet rock painting, a scavenger hunt and thrilled the crowd when we showed the power of a big excavator by cutting complete cars in half on the streets of downtown Warsaw!

The highlight of this event was our “Fill the Truck” campaign where we asked customers, vendors, individuals and businesses to partner with us to help fill a dump truck with items and goods needed by several not-for-profit agencies in our county.

We were grateful to have collected and distributed over 3400 pounds of goods and over $2000 to 10 local charities!
