Silas Chapman

Silas joined G&G in 2004 as a laborer/operator and has grown in leadership over the years. He was promoted to Foreman in 2010 and in 2020 assumed the position of Operations manager.

What mainly attracted him to G&G was a desire to work for a company which offered him growth opportunities while he could play in the dirt. G&G offered him both, so he is very grateful to work for such a great organization.

As an operations manager, Silas gives leadership direction to foremen on various projects and is heavily involved in meeting with general contractors regarding project needs or progress. However, Silas still loves being in a machine sometimes moving dirt.

Silas is certified in First Aid/CPR, MSHA, Confined Space, Competent Person and has a CDL.

Silas’ hobbies include boating, wake-surfing, volleyball, playing guitar and spending time with family.
